Well i didn't even think about it till yesterday as i normally see a porsche guy once a day and the first question is.
1.Hey how do you like it? 2.Hey ever been to PelicanParts.com? 3. Go check it out if your a Porsche Fanatic. 4.See ya later, happy driving.. I dont know why but itslike a conversation starter.. For some reason anytime i ever talk to a porsche guy i always mention this site with regards.. Do any of you find yourself telling soemone on the street about the site? I must have told 50 people in the last 5 months. Just thought id share that.. Thanks, Danny ------------------ 2 People In The World, Those That Have Porsche's, And Those That Want Porsche's.... Cool deal, I do that all the time! Actually probably less than you, because I don't meet that many new Porsche people.

I too always recommend this homepage when I'm talking to other Porsche fans/owners.

I guess not too many other people do though because no one has replied to this post?

Whenever I'm speaking with someone who is remotely interested in Porsches, Pelican Parts and this BB make it into the conversation. Les |

Yes, I am actually passing on a spare Pelican CD and the printed 944 FAQ to a guy at church tonight. I have had two friends approach me this week with questions about potential buys on 44s. They will receive the extra Pelican CDs I have. Two new "addicts" in the wings.

I was driving down Hasting Street in Vancouver B.C. saw a nice 911 targa I was in our 912e waved him over we stopped and talked on the side of the road for 1/2 hour Pelican Parts came up right away in the conversation. We both agreed it was a great Porsche resource. I can only suggest that we all buy something from them to insure this web site keeps going. I am ordering my new clutch parts from them this week.

I have a buddy that has a Boxster and one an 01 911 Cab C4 and am always talking about cool posts on pp. But, there never seem to get it!
Of course the Boxster guys loves Petes Boxster Board. Check it out sometime, quite abit different than this great board! Michael 87 targa |

I also do it all the time, even though I rarely get to meet many Porsche people here in Eastern Canada. Great site.

I mention it when it comes up...this site has the potential to the be international premier site for Porsches...that's no horsecrap either. Clever and novel ideas with a modicum of genius are the best, and this site happens to have all the factors.
I could be wrong of course, and it could be the Etoys of tomorrow, but it won't be if Wayne Religiously adheres to not overextending himself and his budget with overly optimistic futures. Instead, long haul growth is best, somewhere between the grandiosity of Performance Products and the bare bonesness of Vertex should be the target. Also, somewhere between Yahoo's freebieness which invites the permanent leech and other sites' Pay-by-the-letter... ------------------ Kurt B 1984 Carrera Cabriolet 911 Page carrera_cabriolet@yahoo.com |

As seen in other post, I'm trying to snag traffic from Pete's Boxster Board...
Hmmm, "modicum" sounds like a bad word. I can't even tell what it means from context? -Wayne |

Yes, two people I've passed this BB to.
An owner of a 993 based in Hong Kong and a soon to be owner who's moving back to the UK. I'm currently trying to convert someone else to Porsches. So I'll be recommending this BB too! Great site for the newbies! |
