Gunnar Racing at Sebring
Gunnar Racing is going to do a salute to Sebring's aviation history at the 12 Hour. Their Panoz will be decked out in a B-17 like livery and the crew will have flight crew-like suits. Cool stuff, can't wait to get there! Check out this link:

"On race day, Jeannette will actually pilot the plane from the left seat as it does a flyover prior to the 10:30 a.m. start of the 12-hour event, a tribute to the many 19-year-old pilots who flew in the war...."
Curt, that is quite a tribute. One of those B-17 pilot "kids" was my Uncle Gordon...no longer with us. He flew out of England, but must not have liked Germany much back then. You see, he never stopped.. ![]() |

I'll have plenty of pics. And I see they're giving rides in the B-17 during the race for a $350 donation. That'd be a hoot, eh?! Hmmmm ... maybe I'll be posting some aerial shots!
