I can't get the distributor out of the car
I need to replace the ignition distributor in my '78 SC. The one in it was difficult to get in with the new O ring. It's only been in the car for a couple weeks but I can't get it out. It turns back and forth but I can't get it to pull out. Any tricks for removing without damaging it?

some penetrating oil to get the hole slippery then pry up inline with shaft axis.
