Rare Colour??

I can't find a single lime green (assuming my car is lime green - no paint code you see) Porsche 911 on the internet anywhere -I found a 914 though...

Just how rare is this 'Love it or Hate It' colour - can anyone give me any info....

Does anyone have one.. Also what is Viper Green? anyone got a pic.

Regards

Swede

Thumbs up

Rare?! What do ya mean. I always check, and I always find that colour in every bag of m&m's . ...or was that skittles?

Check out Peter Morgans Original 911 book. There he's calling this "Jade Green" . . which is a special order colour for your year.

I like it. . .

Those darn skin bumpred cars all look the same. . .. and so I mistook the above shot as the same car labled "jade green" . .same colour it may be. .. if it's really dark out;

So, *here* is what he's calling "Jade Green" . . .in Peter Morgans Original 911 book.

just doing my part to add confusion. -sorry.

Ahh, my old car again.
The colour is lime green, indeed. In German it is Glebgrun #137. You'll find it on the touch up paint that came with the car. I've seen 2 other lime green 911s. Signal green is very rare too.
Search on the BBS for Viper green, you'll find some pics - it's quite a different colour.
The colour code plate - drivers side A post - has been painted over, if memory serves correct, rub it down perhaps?
Look after my old girl....

Nope...

It's a nice colour - but it's definitely not the colour of mine. Mine is definitely a P Car colour because it had a minor scrape when the prev. owner had it and it was repaired and ID'd as a P colour at the time - but it appears to be rarer than I thought as i still haven't seen reference to another one. Unfortunately I don't have a paint code.

Settling an argument...

Also I was intent on settling an argument with Kev at CCW who is insistent that it is Viper Green despite my arguments to the contrary.

I thought we had seen the last of that photo of the snow-covered mid-year targa - but alas it has surfaced again.

Not that there's anything wrong with it...

Anthony? Who the HELL did you sell your old car to? The first person with the money? Be careful here...somebody may accuse you of being a capitalist.

Ha ha, Paul.
Sold it to my best friend at home. We've been selling and swaping cars with each other for a long time....

Forget Lime Green!
I'm trying to find Lido Gold.
No luck, not even a picture!
Maybe I better begin sanding that red paint off?!!
Anyone have paint codes?

Nostatic,
That looks surprisingly like my color (Inari Silver Metallic)
I love the way the color changes in different light.

are you implying with this? I think I paid Saffs about £25,000 for the car - which he assures me is a very fair price.

And I may not know everything that there is to know about them but I do all the work myself and I'm learning.

...And I managed to change the airbox without even doing a partial engine drop!!!

So there!
