Sherwood,
I use dye.. I have found it better in finding small leaks.. My $.02... |
I just went through a upgrade and found several leaks. I replaced my old evaporator with a larger M.Benz and a 928 blower and a custom box to hold it.I had 1 hose off of the dryer leaking and replaced all hoses. The last leak that threw me was the shaft seal on the compressor. I am in Texas and need cold air.Good luck

In addition, a strategic refrigerant/dye leak in the interior can/will stain clothing and upholstery. Fortunately, the stain will only be visible with a black light. Unfortunately, the stain can be permanent if not removed. That's the conservative approach anyway. Sherwood |
