Steve Wong?
Is Steve Wong no longer a member of this forum? I did an advanced search on his name, and the board does not recognize him as a member. Is he listed as a different user?
Thanks in advance for any intel  |
I hear ya, I PM'd him with no response.

Try the following. I believe that is his business info.
911CHIPS • 3417 Andrita Street • Los Angeles, CA 90065 • tel: (323) 819-0722 • fax: (323) 340-8133 • info@911chips.com |
Try Steve@911chips.com as well as the number above.
Any questions you have can usually be answered at 911CHIPS - Performance Chip Tuning for the Porsche 911 . I spent all this past weekend with Steve at Streets of Willow with POC. His handle on the Board is "Steve W" not "Steve Wong." |
Thanks guys. I am not that active of a Pelican poster, so if you want to contact me, email me at steve@911chips.com or call, don't PM me through Pelican unless you don't expect to hear back from me anytime soon. Even then, I get a lot of email on a daily basis, and it can take a couple of hours each day to answer all of them, so if your message is technically complicated, don't feel insulted if I forget or am slow to reply. Just resend to remind me.

Guys,
Steve is a class act and he always answered any email that i sent him through 911chips.com and he did so very promptly. It's amazing with all his business related activities that he has the time to personally answer back but that's what makes him an outstanding businessman and member of the Porsche community ! Cheers! +1 on Steve Wong.
He was very helpful with applications of his chips for both of my cars...88 3.2 and my 93 964. Perfect service. |
My apologies to the forum...I was wondering because Steve used to post here regularly, and I started to thinking that I had not seen a post from him for quite some time. I forgot his screen name, but still did not see it in the listing as I spelled out his name. I concur with Steve being a class act, and never shy when it came to helping tech issues relating to chips or DME's. He produces a GREAT product.

+2 on Steve Wong's customer service. When I realized I ordered the wrong chip for my car and called customer support on a Sunday evening i expected to get a answering machine. Steve promptly answered the phone ready to solve my problem. That's way above and beyond in my book.

I have to give it up to Steve Wong. I had purchased a chip from him and because of medical problems I had not installed it for two years. When I went to install it I felt that I was having problems with it. I called Steve and he understood my medical plight and had me send him the chip which he immediately addressed, even though I had purchased it a couple of years ago. He asked no questions and only wanted to be sure I was satisfied. Great customer service

Ditto. And Steve's product is an excellent investment - made my '87 3.2 go from nice, to really nice in a flash - most noticably lots more low end and mid range making it more fun to drive - plus more high end as a bonus too. If anyone is sitting on the fence unsure about invesment in the chip, i can say it was well worth it.
I too was kinda shocked to reach him immediately when i expected either a generic answering service on a weekend, or a voice mail - not only was he quick to respond, but he also helped my go back to basics to figure out my high idle with the chip (it was just a slow-closing idle microswitch due to sticking throttle return), short and sweet and to the point. Cheers, Brian '87 3.2 |
