Pinch in cab window

I know this is a Boxster question and I am on the 911 BBS, but the boxster BBS gets 0 action. So here goes, I have a pinch in the plastic window (I probably did it in the cold when fooling with the up down top). I would imagine the 911 cab top is similar. Do you have any suggestions on a fix? I was thinking maybe a little heat from a heat gun or some kind of iron process. The car is still under warranty, and I could probably bring it to the dealership, but if its a easy fix, I would just as soon fix it myself. Remember I am a 911 owner too. Your help would be appreciated.

Couldn't hurt....I hear they have some special cushion or whatever that can be put in the crease....my cab never sees much REAL cold being in California, but it's what I hear....

I just read about this in Excellence or 911 & Porsche World. They said NOT to use a heat gun. They said a blowdryer is the way to go. Take your time and work slow.

in Porsche world Peter morgan gave some tips about boxster ownership...

he said thatw as a common prob...I don't remeber the fix..but he said when you put the top down, you have to put your hand on the window and press it down so that when the top comes down it does not bend in the middle of the window...

hmmm...I don;t know if I am making sense...drop me an email to remind me to look thru my stack to see if I still have that issue...
