For a car going through this level of restoration and detail, the extensive use of black undercoating ruins it for me.

It's being restored properly - black is factory for this series...

Love, love, love it. This car is going to be one seriously cool ride... best of luck to all involved.
Can't wait to see it when it's completed!

Since our centerfill tank is based on a cis new aftermarket unit, we got to thinking about fuel pumps, delivery, pressures. So we added a piece of aluminum tubing in the tunnel, for a return line. With a quiet running fuel injection compatible pump (25 psi plus) , we will run a loop to the carbs and back. A pmo fuel pressure regulator will handle the flow so we get 3.5-4 psi at the carbs at all times. This should help with gasohol evaporation on hot days- carbed cars tend to choke up some when sitting .

The chassis was also originally set up for a single master cylinder. New oem lines installed supplying fluid to the master. The struts are from a Carrera with new bilstein inserts, rebuilt carrera calipers, new pads and flex stainless lines. Steering rack gets a mild bump steer kit; we will see how it patterns out once the car is all together

Getting the sway away spring plates powder coated black almost makes them disappear. We substituted neatrix bushings for the hard plastic that comes with the plate kit.

very nice Dave. I am interested in how well the gasohol evaporation solution will work out.

Dave,

What finish is on the calipers? Mine are painted and I'd like to get them properly coated/finished/anodized.

Thank you.

The calipers were restored by PMB Performance the coating is the yellow/gold zinc plating.
