Dave is in "Hyper drive" and asked me to post these.
Lots of progress has been made, but with the Rennsport dead line looming not much time to take pictures and posting. The oiling system is not to exotic a trombone cooler in the front fender, the cooling needs are not to extreme, the engine never ran hot with out a cooler. Getting it all plumbed to fit with a 72 oil tank and a 964 console take some know how. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Not so much chrome on a R, the one year only 68 Aluminum door frames w/ movable vent windows were sent out for anodizing. The original Talbot mirrors were sent out for chroming. The door handles were drilled and re-chromed, we felt the plastic handles, would not be the best choice for a street car. The turned out very nice.

I do... I was trying to place when I did a set of Wide L's and the A's together. Oh well, I'm old... that's my excuse and I'm sticking with it!
![]() There's a car in WI with that setup as well. Looking good! E.

The 2.2 engine went in for the last time yesterday, mated to a early 901 A-F-M-S-X gear box. The wiring required some ingenuity mating a 68 loom to a 72 motor.

I'd be tempted to leave that engine in my living room as art.

Lots of other very cool interior tricks to come, the interior will be the best part of the whole build. But, we're keeping them secret for now ![]() ![]() |
