Painting engine shroud - Krylon ok for high-temp?

After searching the forums, it seems people recommend Krylon Fusion to paint the fiberglass engine shroud.

But it does not say anything about being high-temp paint, nor could I find anybody addressing that issue.

Is it ok to use non-high temp paint (specifically the Krylon Fusion) on the engine shroud?

I used it it worked ok. color wasnt quite what I wanted so I am planning on trying something different next time i have it apart.

I used Fusion Paint and it worked reasonably well. I didn't do much in the way of prep other than degreasing.

VHT brand (very high temp) rattle can of spray paint in Cast Iron color is an awesome dark grey colol and is good for 1300-2000 degrees. Silica paint, VERY nice classy color IMHO.

Just went through 3 cans of it refinishing a BBQ.

I used Dupli-color engine paint as I have for every other engine painting exercise and it still looks like the day I painted it.

Krylon Fusion with prep work has yielded great results for me. There are a bunch of shroud painting threads in the engine forum w/ lots of pics.
