alternator disconnecting????
 

How do you get the wires out of the back of the alternator. My intake is all off except for the wires into the alternator. I have the front of the fan disconnected but I cannot figure out how to get my fingers in there to unplug the wires!!!

There is a stap that goes around the Fan huosing with one bolt on the top....

remove that bolt and the complete fan hosing will pull out.....
then remove the wires.... There is a Tech Article on this site with more detail and pictures of how to replace your alternator....
