Who knows this car?

Porsche 911 at the Hunsrück Rallye 1992

Looks pre-1974, wearing a set of Mini-lite wheels. Awesome sound. Just wondering if anyone here knows the driver, history, etc.?

Great video.

Can't answer your question, but can ask another: What kind of suspension modification is required for rallies like this? Driving in New Orleans can be like off-roading sometimes, and I'd like to better prepare for it....

The car sounds like it has an on off switch, not a gas pedal!

Sounds like a 2.0 with 46mm carbs and 906 cams - in other words, a 911R.

NOLA - it's tough to tell the puddles from the potholes!

Try the city of Chicago. It's like off-roading with a stop sign every block. Thanks to sub-standard road materials, lazy city workers, and inclement weather, there are often miniature canyons to navigate around.
