What Wheel sizes 86 carrera convertible?

Hi I just bought a 911 86 3,2 convertible with later wheels.

I want to fit original Fuchs wheels .

What are the sizes front and rear?

Are the 15"? and how wide?

Also what are the tire sizes front and rear ?

Does anyone know where I can get these repro og fair priced originals?

Thank you all

Best Thomas Andersen

For US model cars, 95% of '86 Carreras would have come with 16x6 Fuchs in front, and 16x7 Fuchs in the rear, with 205/55 16 front tires and 225/50 16 rears.

Euro delivery cars may have been different, but the above would have been the most common for most countries, I think.

The base Fuch was 15x6 and 15x7 but not very many base models seemed to have been ordered. The common size is 16x6 and 16x7s. There are lots of those around.

A lot of people switch the Carreras to 16x7s with 16x9s in the rear. This takes a bit of clearance checking depending on the tire profile, and tires for those are starting to get hard to find.

There are a few places that convert the 16x6 Fuchs to 17 inch rims. Usually something like 17x7.5 and 17x9. It is easier to find tires for those.
