Lost my key...what are my options?

I lost my main set of keys to my car, and my spare is nowhere to be found. It's a 69 911...what are my options?

Have a locksmith make one from the door cylinder. Better yet, make 2.

If you have AAA, they will pay for a locksmith. Hopefully your door and ignition key are the same...

good point. If they aren't, buy a new ignition lock, it comes with a new key, and key the doors to match.

He's the key guru. Do you know the key number stamped on the old keys? He can make a key from this number. He does great work and his replacement keys are perfect down the the number stamping.

Best bet is locksmith but if you want an OEM key you can go to your local Porsche dealer and give them your VIN and they will send off to Germany for a replacement. Cost was about $85 if I remember.
