A waste of a Porsche

This guy was upset with his Porsche after chasing engine and cooling problems.. So this is what he decided to do with it.

LiveLeak.com - Porsche does not survive the shooting range!

". . . I just wanted to destroy something beautiful."

The world doesn't need people like that.

The problems with the car were much worse than that.

Dumb and Dummer

First, I want to say that I am a gun owner and I love hunting and shooting. But I can't figure out who is the bigger fool. The moron who owns the car or the idiots who are wasting their time and ammo shooting holes in a car irregardless of the make of the car. He could have donated the car to a charity but then I would not had the opportunity to demonstrate what kind of fool he is.

There are plenty of people out there who could have used some of the benefits the sale of the car would have brought.

I guess he will not be interested 2012 Porsches

He actually did donate the car to charity. The charity was a Second Amendment rights organization in MA who then used it as fodder for a benefit shoot. The people paid a fee which was really a donation to the organization. Further, it got a lot of people to make further donations to that organization.

Quite simply, yes, he could have sold the car to a dismantler but the engine and transmission were toast and the car was a Tip with > 120k miles on it anyway. He's getting a right off and it benefitted an organization he believes in.

One more thing

This reminds me of motorcycle events that were Harley only; "no Jap Crap". The high point of the evening was when "Jap" bike was sacrificed. The bike would usually be some old worn out metric bike with the oil drained out of the motor to insure a engine failure and prove to all that Harleys rule. They would start it with the throttle pined wide open and everybody would cheer when it blew up.

He nailed it, I saw this a few weeks ago and came to the same conclusion, we can all share the immediate shock and horror of one of these cherished autos die in such grand fashion but the reality is this was a high mile, wrong trannied version of the currently least loved variant of 911, with a trashed engine.

There wasn't a whole lot to save there and he did donate it to charity. I'm sure there would have been similar howling if he'd tossed a Cheby V8 His car, do whatever he wants with it.
