New addition
I happened upon this neglected, but sound, 83 SC factory cab, and decided it would be a nice project car since my 930 is pretty much done (yeah right!). The interior needs a lot of TLC, there are a lot of paint chips and some dope tried to jack it up by the rear quarter panel (buckled). The engine is solid, starts in half a crank, no smoke. Some oil leaks that will need to be tended to and it sounds like it could use a valve adjust.
The tranny will need some attention as the 1st gear syncros are gone, but all other gears are butter smooth. Should be interesting to see what's stuck to the drain plug. We are hunting for a house with more garage space, so she's going to get all new fluids and then go to storage for a bit, but I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions for you SC gurus when fall comes. The 930 is running to good to spend time in the garage this summer. ![]() What's wrong with the above pic? Front ride height is insane! I think I'll drop it closer to the 930 but not all the way.

What's better than a fine tuned, bad*ass air cooled P-car, you may ask? Well, sir, that's simple... Why 2 of them, of course! A lot of views on this post, and a lot of fellas wishin' they were in your shoes, including me. Best of luck... How 'bout some details as to how you got your 930 to run too good?
