any New Orleans area Pelicans want to help w/ engine install?
Couple weeks ago I did first engine drop to replace clutch with help from fellow Pelican NolaSC (Shawn). I'm ready to reconnect the engine/trans and reinstall. Shawn is unavailable this weekend so wanted to see if anyone in New Orleans area (I'm Uptown) wanted to help with reinstall this Sat. (anytime) or Sun. (a.m.). Little leery of trying the reinstall without extra set of hands. Thanks

Rattlsnak, I've been enjoying your '84 thread. Wish those turn signal extension things would have worked out better. I'm probably cutting through your town Sunday (but in the Passat).

yeah, i probably could have made them work but it would have taken WAY to much time and i know i would not have been happy at the end.
Are you guys in the city? I grew up on the north shore, Slidell.. |
