LED Test Light

I found in a Bentley manual how to build a LED test light that is safe to use in electronic circuits.
The only drawback is that it is polarized, meaning if you connect it wrong it will not light.
that is why I used a red wire for the positive voltage.

With a needle tip

i've made many of those.......a little trick is to fit it into a pen with the led at the top and a pointy probe out the tip

It is in the GTI Golf Bentley manual, not in the Porsche manual.

The nice thing about an LED over a VOM is you can see the pulses..it is very clear if you have an issue.

Speed or reference sensor..fuel injector...no doubt if in five or ten seconds of cranking the engine over if the pulses are irregular, missing or weak.
