For some weird reason, I remember seeing those pics either here or on Rennlist. FWIW, it looks like a 78-79 turbo. I hope he finds the car.

I used to live in that area in the late 80's, early 90's and I totally remember seeing that car. It was shiny, red and LOUD....it was the license plate. You don't forget a car like that....
