Buying a 1976 911 3.0s

I'm interested in buying my first Porsche and I've came across a 1976 911 3.0s Targa in red with no service history, never been restored and has 144k km but the dealer says its in good condition. Before I go to see it I'd like to ask you experts the following:

- What is a difference from a 3.0 and a 3.0s, so that I can identify if its a truley a 3.0s.
- Is €18000 reasonable since I read that there is only 1123 produced?
- It has a semi-automatic gearbox, are these still fun to drive?
- I usually decode VIN numbers to truly check the authenticity of the car. I'm guessing its in the door frame, but what number should it have?

I got my information from: Channel P101tv | Porsche 911 Carrera 3.0

Thanks.
