Makes You Wonder...

Hello All, Happy Birthday USA!

I was looking at the underside of the fuse box cover today at the map of fuses and relays. I noticed the numbers at the bottom of the table list a part number 965.610.171.00 and some other numbers. Because the list of relays and fuses is for the specific car, I wondered if the second number was the build number. In my case it is written like this:

Inter-siebdruck
LN-Nr. 184810
15.12.89 - A1

The number on the bottom is a date that does not correspond to the date on the door jamb, which is December 20, 1990 (90 DEZ 20), which is dated just over a year later. Maybe it is a form number?

Any German translators out there? My rough translation is "Local screen print number 184810"

Thanks,
Mark

well inter siebdruck means inter screenprint. I´d guess its referring to the label itself
Inter doesn´t mean Local however. In German it can be an abbreviation like Inter for International
or Internal.

Likely a "printed on _______" date. Given Porsche's history of making running changes, makes sense that they'd put a date on the fuse map.

Tool kit

I don't have the tool kit in my 85 Carrera. Long gone. I have been buying the tools I need such as the spanner wrench and extra belt, some open end wrench's, extra DME relay, and stuff along with an aftermarket tool roll. Can any one tell me a source where I can buy most of the tools I need? Or a list of the tools I need to make my new kit complete? Thank you, Nick
