SC Flapping Mirror
My passenger side Mirror is flapping around (the whole assembly), does anyone know how many bolts should be holding it on to the door? Thanks

The allen head screw between the window and mirror is the only bolt holding the mirror on. |
IF the base is not loose then you will have to take the mirror apart and remove the wiring and tighten the hollow bolt.

Should be only one. Hex type if I remember well.
It does not screw into something but rather tight a J hook to the body. The bolt and J hook are in line with the cap (red arrow) http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1309883835.jpg |
Had my mechanic do mine... it's kind of a 2 man job.

If at the pivot, then the Hollow nut or the 4 bolts behind the glass. |
To expand this discussion, is there a bolt to also tighten the pivot point for the chrome side mirrors (or the reproduction side mirrors)? My drivers side mirror flops when I'm driving at highway speed.

Thanks guys, much appreciated
