CIP1 fuchs replicas not what pictured!
 

Lesson learned. Should have bought the real thing. Ordered a set of fuchs replicas from cip1. The photos on the website resemble closely the real fuchs, but the ones I received do not at all. Very unhappy. Contacted the owner about the differences and he tried to convince me they were identical although they obviously were not. I tried to return them but do not want to eat shipping for a discrepency in THEIR advertising. Live and learn, but hopefully somebody else does not make the same mistake. I will not be ordering anything else from them as I feel they are untrustworthy and their customer service is pitiful. I tried to download their pictures to post but they copyrighted them. Here are the wheels I received. Pretty wheels, just not what I ordered.

Did you pay by Credit Card or Paypal? Why not file a dispute or Sue the Ba$Turd to make you whole.

Not sure where the surprise is but looking at the picture from their page I would have expected worse. The pictures show the pedals connecting with no real radius at the center where yours at least has a radius.

I can see where you might not like them... (I don't like them) but I don't see where you could say you were deceived unless they changed their website or you bought them from another page.
(Kind of interesting that they make a set of fake hearts...)

To the OP, sorry for your troubles and disappointment. Best of luck for some resolution.

If you add a little black paint to the end of the petals and put them on your car, I seriously doubt anyone could tell the difference unless they got up real close. And yes, the "bump" by the valve stem, is supposed to be there.

I understand you shouldnt have to do that, but if you cant get this resolved, thats what i would do.

My two cents.

Perhaps the edge of the black paint line adds to the impression of an incorrect petal shape. Notice where the black edge ends on a real Fuchs. I believe it's lower than as painted on the replicas.

Otherwise, the shape of the spokes relative to the hub seems pretty close w/o benefit of a direct A-B comparison.

I agree. They don't look quite right but they look like they do on the order page to me. Like 911pcars says, the paint coming up so far on the petal might be part of the reason.

I know they're not completely correct but I rather like them.... Is it just me? :confused:

It's not entirely clear if the physical edge of the replica spokes are less rounded than the factory spokes and/or the edge of the black paint accentuates any difference.

New, for $120 a wheel just paint the petals in! You buy $120 replica Fuch knock-offs and they aren't perfect (but pretty darn nice IMHO!)... wow

This is what I did. I will post pictures later. They turned out better than I expected but I still think it is shady to advertise one set of wheels and then send out another. And even worse to argue with the customer that it is the same wheel when it obviously is not.

Cast aluminum fakes have a rep of polishing up nice. But they are cast....not forged. They can crack and should be only used for the street.....like on lowered bugs.

they look like early wheels to me, im not sure why your comparing to sc style fuchs?
