Fiberglass Bumper Intall??????

My Ruf replica REAR bumper does not have mounting brackets. Do I simply bolt it to the body panels?

I seached for about an hour, did not find anything conclusive.

Any help would be appreciated. THANKS!

Yes, On the back side I just went up thru the bumper top into the metal tin with some screws that runs under the rear reflector.

Thanks for the help. I searched for some time and did not find many specific answers.

Did you use sheet metal screws? Have they ever become loose?

I may use nuts and bolts if I can make them fit.

I use small bolts along the body where I could get to them. One bolt I had to remove the tail light bucket to get in there. The upper back I used sheet metal screws with hex heads, 3 of them I think.

Pretty much the same when I mounted my Yellowbird rear. I think I've got 7 or 8 bolts and screws holding it in place. The one thing I did in addition is that just inside of the wheelwell opening I drilled and added a bolt to get the end of the bumper to line up with the flare perfectly. Oh, and it was a lot easier with the muffler off the car too as I recall.
