1979 911sc Wiper & Light short
Last night on my return home my windshield wipers starting going by themselves. I made sure both the dash and regular wiper controls were off. They still kept starting and stopping. Then my headlights started to do the same thing. Then suddenly wipers went off and headlights came back on. This lasted for 10 minutes, if not more. HELP!

An exorcism may be in order.... but i'd first check for loose wires, bad contacts in the wiper/headlight switches (both dash and steering column).
