Did they make a 16in phone dial wheel. There are plenty of 15in ones, but they don't suit my style.

There's more to that. The early 944 turbos had phonedials with a different offset, the same as the 944 Turbo fuchs. They are quite rare, but they fit the 911 perfectly, without the need for a spacer.

So how much are the phone dials worth $$$ if they are in good shape with tires and 16inches?

They made them for all 944s, not just the Turbo. My "S" has them and were a factory option. If you're looking for phone dials, it shouldn't be too much of a problem. I once saw a 16-inch set sell on ebay (without reserve) for $400.00. All kinds of places have them for cheap. Just be careful of their condition; they're not nearly as durable as Fuchs or even cookie cutters for that matter.

CAUTION!!
The eary 944 Turbos that did not have ABS braking had a different offset than the ABS equipped cars. Thus the 16 inch cookies came in two different offsets...the non ABS rims fitting straight onto 911s to '89. GeorgeK |
