Okay, so I am still working away here to get rid of extra unneeded stuff. Pulled the wood up, then there was more wood under that. Pulled that up and surprise! my smugglers box. How about that. must have wanted to put an amp there. so as I continue what else can I remove? i am counting on you experts out there!! i know theres a lot of you.

I am trying to eliminate wires that are not needed from the old alarm. This black wire appears to go to the Siren, and is grounded up in the hood light. Tried to take the pictures of the wire attachement in the light, the siren, and the harness it goes too.

the object in the smuggler box is a air horn compressor with the black relay that powers it. This could be part of the horn system a p/o installed, or part of the alarm system. You car has a clifford alarm system (flat mult strand grey cable gives it away) . That will be hooked up to a dash face key pad. Follow the cable to the flat ecu that is the alarm control. Then follow the output wire loom (yeah- its wrapped with that black plastic split loom covering) . It should lead to the following: One relay socket with white wire/ green stripe and one relay socket with white wire/ red stripe. Those wires need to be followed to where they connect to the factory harness. Typically installers cut the fuel pump with one, and the starter lead with the other. After you i.d. the cuts, remove the white green and white red connections, and reconnect the factory wires to each other. We prefer that you solder them together, with shrink heat tubing to insulate them. There is heat shrink tape available these days too. Radio Shack , or similar suppliers , would have it
After that you can remove the alarm system completely

That hole on the aluminum casting? Just an access hole- good idea to plug it, but not a problem otherwise. I would monitor brake fluid level, and feel. Possible the vent tube is not connected to a drain hose, and dumping fluid from the reservoir when you enjoy spirited braking (if fluid is at the highest level, it will burp out the vent tube into the trunk if not hooked up to a hose leading to the outside)

Yup, after a hour or so I found ACCUMALATORI ALTO ADIGE trademarked Edelweiss. Horns. So I thought I had little yellow horns under my passenger side fender. Guess need to track down which work. There is a small horn in the smugglers box too. Will try tracing out the green n white wire and removing bus cable and keypad alarm tomorrow. Thanks a ton for detailed info!!

Okay, I'm a little confused. Checked this morning and noticed the Red accumulator Alto Adige unit in pic one has a thick clear tube running to the air horn in the smugglers box, and then into something else, as the tube splices to another tube that disappears into the top passenger side fender. I do see a black horn in the front of the passenger side fender. Where Is the factory horn at?

yes the factory horns are in the pass. side fender well.

Okay, That is what I was thinking. Before I disable, guess I'll put the battery in and see if that horn works. Maybe I'll keep them both if the after market one is louder. Glad to have that one figured out, Thanks!
