Starter Relay?

Does my 1973 911 T have a starter relay? If so, where is it? I haven't had the time to look yet.

Bill,

No, there is no separate external relay on your car (or any 911 before 1990) ... unless a previous owner added one. The ignition switch operates the starter solenoid.

the starter solenoid is actually the starter relay. just another type of electromagnetic switch.

Hello

Not from the factory as the selenoid works as a relay itself.

Bill,
If I could add on to your post. I only have one relay up front in the trunk. I have seen pictures with as many as three relays. Am I missing any? I don't have AC.
