need help- ID wire
 

posted in 930 forum, no answers. Hope someone can help- What is this wire? I found it in the battery well. You can see the female end to the left in the picture. I'm always reluctant to plug something in without knowing what it is. As far as I know, all my lights work. and the horn works. I couldn't find any answers myself as the parts diagrams here have been disabled. Thank you!

a little clarification- this is the battery well (the battery is removed). The front of the car is at the top. I added circles of the male and female ends I found.

Does the wire go through the trunk wall toward the washer reserve? Does your headlight washer pump work? Earlier cars had the pump in the trunk later cars had the pump on the resevoir.
