Electronic Speedo in a 74?

I have a 1974 911 with a 1976 gearbox. We need an electronic speedometer as the mechanical one will not work with this gearbox. What year model would I need to buy in order for it to fit in the dash? Also, if anyone has one, I would be interested in buying it.
Thanks in advance.

Electrically, you can use any electronic model up until '97. It comes down to a cosmetic decision. The closer the model is to the '76 the better it will fit with the other instruments. Check eBay - there are many offered for sale
