These look bad enough on the new Hondas, Lexus' and Acuras. Where the hell did this "whiteout" look start, and why the heck would manufacturer's make them stock? Anyone else notice them? Really cheapens the look of most the cars I see them on. Reminds me of when people would put those dark headlight covers on their IROC's.

I had a 97 M3 which I swapped to full euro (clear/red vs. amber/red) lenses all around including the side markers. This was a silver car, and IMHO the clear lenses looked awesome and really cleaned up the appearance. Of course these were factory BMW parts and cost several $hundred, not the aftermarket crapola like on most of the ricers... ![]() Chris C. Hmmmm... I don't hate the white out look all together but it sures screws up the look of this guys 911... Next thing out will be a whited out rear "PORSCHE" reflector..
