Lowering Seats

Picked up an 84 911 that has Sparco Evo seats mounted on factory sliders. Problem is the seat is not low enough for when wearing a helmet. The lowest holes on the side mounts were open, so I tried to lower the seat into that, but the bottom of the seat hits the floor and makes the bolt about 1/4 inch off. I did try raising the fronts up a bit to see if the angle would help, but it didn't. What are my options? Remove the factory slider and mount directly to the floor? Here's a couple pictures of the setup. Thanks for the help!

I removed the sliders and attached the sparco brkts directly to the floor mounting points.

I did have to relieve the underside of the seat in two locations to clear the mounting bolts.

Your seat looks a bit narrow is it the Evo? My Evo II was the perfect width but the Evo was too narrow. It required that I fabricate an adapter made from flat 1/8" steel plate with two bolt patterns.

I might have some pics somewhere

Yes, mine are the regular Evo's, they are a bit tight for me, but came in the car when I bought it.
