Anyone take reverse switch off the transmission without draining fluid?

I planed on repairing the reverse switch/pin when I change tranny fluid but when it came, I forgot about it. I remembered right after I finished. I know that if I take the switch off, fluid will come out, but how much would I lose?
Anyone take it off without replacing fluid yet?
Thanks.
The tranny is G50.

if you have the front of car higher than the rear it will minimize it. if car is level or higher in the rear, fluid will come out more or less continuously (not pour out, but slow stream).

just jack the car up on the passenger side instead of the rear and nothing will come out. I replaced mine like this a couple times. I have screwed up putting the engine back in and broke it more than once. it gets caught on the E brake calble and snaps the end off.
