No worries, doc I made a pressure bleeder when it was all the craze several years ago SmileWavy. Will try your 10 Pump for your Life Method, My wifey is ready to go, she is a tough little chica :p

Another thing to do is rebuild the caliper wet.

In other words fill the caliper with fluid and then reassemble it. Yes, it's messy but it'll bleed more easily that way. Also, tapping on the caliper with a hammer while bleeding it helps as well.

Thanks PabloX,

I was thinking of adding fluid prior to assemblng the hard line, then forgot :(

I did assemble wet ( what a mess ), did tap on the calipers and actually drove for couple of days with the soft brakes.

Amazingly these little P-cars are resilient, I mean even with soft brakes she stops on a dime. With the caliper re-build smooth and even. After correct the 20degree angel in the rear right, it also eliminated the squeel.

UPDATE

1st:

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/support/smileys/pray.gifhttp://forums.pelicanparts.com/support/smileys/pray.gif Dr RUSNAK http://forums.pelicanparts.com/suppo...s/smileJap.gifhttp://forums.pelicanparts.com/suppo...s/smileJap.gif

This is no FLAME on the Motive or DIY Motive Knock Off Pressure Bleeder. I have one too and works as designed for a one man job when wife is pissed at you :( but it could never replace the OLD SCKOOL 2 Man Team :D "OK, Pump!"

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v5...720_183217.jpg

I did exactly what Rusnak stated but with a twist, I placed two pieces of 2X4 (one was actually 2X2, for you OCD types) and after 3 rounds I turned on the car to utilize the Brake Booster, then another round off.

1. Place the blocks so the pedal will not go to the floor.
2. Pump 10 times hard like your life depended on it, where good sneakers/boots helper! HOLD down.
3. Very quickly open and close the valve, Helper CHASE that PEDAL WITH EXTREME PRESSURE! NOTICE THE CLOUD OF BUBBLES COMING OUT?
3.5 Don't forget teh fluid, Watch Fluid Levels on each caliper.
4. After the 3rd release the fluid came out clear. (I was really insecure, so I did it 10 times., Nice Golden Clear Color)

The best thing is, this method uses very little fluid, I had about 1/4 of a litre left over. Never did that before ever. I've alwasy end up using 1.25 to 1.50 litres in the past. The Vacuum Hand Bleeder at the valve used 2.25 litres  allot of waste.

RESULTS:
MUCH SUCSESS
!

Humbly,

Jim

Thank you Dr Russnak!

I once had a problem with a hydraulic clutch (mk1 MR2) where it was impossible to get the air out with vacuum or 2 man bleeding method. I then used a pressure bleeder (pressuring the m/c) and the problem was instantly solved. I would try pressure bleed before the reverse bleeder. you can make one out of a yard sprayer.

I concur on reverse bleed being a bad idea. Fluid at the calipers is more contaminated than the rest of the system. Pushing that back up through the whole system is a bad idea. Even more so on ABS equipped cars, as all that contaminated fluid is now being pushed back up into the ABS pump.
