rear stabilizer bracket
While in the process of removing my engine and trans I found this...any thoughts on a repair procedure? I could not find that Pelican sells this part...can this be welded?http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1311360456.jpg

Does that replacement part get welded on after removing all traces of the previous one?

Correct. Grind it clean and then place the bracket.
Do a search for wevo bracket and I'm sure you will find how to do it info A great, while-the-engine-is-out job! |
Same thing happened to one of my DE track buddies on his 88 Carrera last month ...
He purchased the Wevo brackets from Pelican and had them welded on ! Have to admit,those brackets look indestructable ... Cheers ! Phil |
