1973CarreraRS plastic gas tank
Hi, new to the forum. I am looking for the hold down clamps for a 85 liter plastic gas tank on my RS. Does anyone know where to get the three clamps, original or reproduction?
Also opinions on replacing the trombone oil cooler. What's best, center mount or wheel well? Thanks, George |

I just got a set from Porsche dealer next to us but I am located near Munich and doono if the holding down plates are available in the States. Was very expensive though.

Hi George,
I think the guys at Aase sales also have the reproduction hold downs that attach to the back of the tank. Ask about those when you call. Are you going to put in a protector for the tank? If so which one did you decide on? Just curious.
