what holds the side windows in their frame ????

Ever since my last driver's ED, my driver's side glass falls out of it's tray. I can take the paneling off and push the glass back into the rubber molding in it's tray, but 2 days later I hear a loud bang, and then the tray goes up and down again, but the glass no longer goes up and down since the tray is moving along the glass. I even took the passengers side paneling off, but I didn't see any bolts or clamps that hold the glass in the tray. Is the glass glued in there ????. If so, where do I get this glue, if it's not glued in there, what am I missing ??. I don't want to take the paneling off every other day for the next few years.. P.s. it's a 85 930 with power windows. Thanks guys

It is jammed into the metal track and held there with a gasket material. You can go to a glass Co. and they will have the gasket material. If you are timid have them do it for you.

so the rubber gets glued to the glass, and then pushed into the track ??. My rubber seems to be glued into the track, and I can push the glass back into it, but it just doesn't stay. thanks guys
