I know it will be loud but how loud? ...under 110 DB? Laguna safe?

Interesting design. at high vacuum (off throttle/partial throttle) it's 2 in 1 out, so unlikely to drone. Mash the throttle and it's 2 in 2 out and probably sounds rowdy af.
There's not a lot of baffling so I doubt it would pass at Laguna on a quiet day.

I saw two questions 1. Will it pass Laguna 2 will it muffle to 110 db.
#2 almost certainly depending on how sound is measured. If it’s 50 ft from trackside then usually 911 racecars with open exhaust come in under 110. I thought Laguna was pretty restrictive on sound. If it’s anything like Lime Rock which has 88 db on muffled days, I’d say no way a race engine with that muffler would pass 88 db at 50 ft from trackside. Basically a new version of the Triad design of the late Dave Ellison. Everyone always said they sounded great.

We have been working on analysis of various muffler designs with CFD and find that the cross over X style like these seem to create drone and its probably due to the major pressure points on the overlap. We find similar flows in the X style Mufflers that are used too... streams collide together, so people add a valve to reduce the drone, but it seems like a flaw in an old school approach IMHO. Here are some visuals for anyone interested.

Correct! The vacuum line must be connected for quiet operation at off throttle/partial throttle. At WOT, the Super Sport is very racey/loud when the valve opens, but that was the intention. Bursch also offers a traditional two-in two-out stainless sport muffler (Rally Sport) that is quieter but still an aggressive sound.
