The wait is over On July 1988 my second child was born and my 1977 911 was sold. I promised myself that I would have another 911, after 23 years that will happen next week. Life goes by fast, it does not seem like 23 years. I am taking delivery of a 1987 911 coupe with 58k miles.....it is a very nice car. I will post pictures when it arrives. Until two months ago I had not driven a Porsche since 1988, the experience brought back great memories from Porsche friends long forgotten. It is good to be back Buckeye .... |

Congrats Buckeye! I too sold my 911 (73E) when my 2nd child was born (1990). I've been lurking here and studying for about a year. I'm probably 6 months to a year away from being able to pull the trigger, but I will own another 911. Tom Viers Cape Girardeau, MO |

wow. 20+ years is a long time and you still come back to the same car. Wow. I almost lost my 911 around the time I had my second kid too. Still not sure if it's the right decision keeping it, but i's still in my garage. I rarely have time for it at all, but I do gotta see it daily. Welcome back. |
