SC Engine upgrade options?

Well im thinking about what to do with my Euro 3.0 in future. I would like to hear some suggestions on a good setup. Im looking for more "tight twisty road torque" rather than high end power although a kinda in between setup would probably be best. I was thinking of using 3.2 heads, rods, crankshaft and increasing the compression. I would also like to maintain the webers and headers I have right now. Just looking to see what you guys suggest. Also no idea what cams I would use and I know that cams are probably one of the most important elements

thanks

I don't know much about what to do inside the motor, but backdating to pre 74 exhaust will get good low end power and since its a 3.0 it will help quite a bit at the top as well. I would go for SSI's if you have the money. That and losing weight always helps :)

There are so many directions that you can go. It really comes down to what you want to spend.

What size webers do you have? If they are 40mm, then they may be too small for all that 3.2 gear you want to drop in there. Also, if you want new 3.2 heads, rods and crank then maybe your best bet would be to sell your 3.0 and buy a 3.2.

With a euro 3.0, you should already have the large port heads. Could always go 3.2ss. Again, depends on tour budget.

I think the ROW 3.0 heads have larger intake ports and better air flow then the 3.2 heads. You would be going in the wrong direction with 3.2 heads.

See my Sig for my recommendation.SmileWavy

I guess I meant 3.2 cylinders. Webers are 40s with 36 venturis in them. Im just thinking bout the future now. Engine is currently really strong. Just having the itch to do a motor build and see what I can put together haha. I do already have headers.

Switching to 98mm P&Cs would be a 3.2SS motor. It is a fun motor, but get ready to spend big bucks. If you buy new P&Cs, you can expect to drop $4k just for those. Your webers will be small for a 3.2 liter motor. 46s would be more appropriate.

May I suggest a quasi 3.0L "Carrera RS" engine?

You could use your webers instead of MFI, but otherwise build it as a high compression RS spec engine.
