Any experience with Auto International for seats?

Hello I have to get my seats covered and most likely repaired. I am looking at our hosts seats and from Auto International. They both seem fine to me, but wonder if anybody used the leather covers with perforation in brown? My is needed on a 1972 911E. Please comment on what you may have done. Thanks for any replies. | ||

Autos International used to have a guy named Tony that was the BEST. Now Tony has his own shop.....Autobahn. He made the German Squareweave Carpet for my 911, and the seats for my 356. Incredible quality!

They are both good . I had autos do a 356 seats and carpet set and autobahn do the same for a 911. Both places use people other than the principles to do the work and there is not much difference. Tony is easy to talk to and very helpful.

Actually I've heard that AI is not what they used to be.....coincidence after Tony leaving? Of course there are other people working in the shop, but under the leadership of the owner. Tony personally worked on my carpet because it was a custom order.

You seem to have a case of 'good' and 'gooder'. That's a great dilemma to have. Do you, or either of them, have a sample of oem? AI did a soup to nuts interior on a 356 Roadster for me, and I was a h appy camper.
