OK, so I screwed up earlier today and posted int the wrong section. Can happen to anyone, particularly someone who is way out of town, Dubai.

The basics are these. I have decided I am extremely jealous of you guys doing your projects and posting pics of the progress. I find myself on the road too much and am relying on some folks to help me out. But that does not diminish the effort. So, with just a couple of pics to start, I thought I would finally introduce my "new" car.

Jay Jarvis at Jarvis Motorsports in Petaluma, CA and his son have been working hard on this car. And I know that to be true P Car guy, I need to do the work myself, which I will promise on a stack of service manuals that once I take posession, I will be constantly on this site asking for help to not screw something up.

The short version is an ad on Pelican Parts for a '69 912 with an '86 3.2L trying to an RS Clone. I looked at it, drove it and then said, old school is for me (got out of a '99 C2). So I offer this in pieces. Am waiting for a Pelican Parts advertiser to come through with my new/old Fuchs RSR finish, 7's and 8's so I can show the whole car. I hope he does.

I start with the motor and the LeMans style outlets Mr. Jarvis has cooked up. More later when I get out of this god forsaken spot and find my way back to CA.

Will be at Monterey, barring any unforeseen circumstances.

More to come.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1312051589.jpg
