Stereo for '83 911SC?
I'm in the market for a new stereo for my SC. Someone suggested a CDR 220 system (like from a Boxster)? Will this fit in the older Porsches? If so, anyone have one that they wanna part with? Thanks...

It will fit, but you'll need to update your electrical connections. Or create an adapter. I chose to update my car's connections to the blaupunkt style "dual 8-pin" plugs that pretty much all german cars used throughout the 90's and early 2000's.
there's tons of these wiring harnesses for sale on ebay.

I have the CDR210 in mine and it fit perfectly. I believe the 220 can be adapted to play MP3's where the 210 cannot.

May I suggest a Blaupunkt Toronto BT410 via amazon.de?
