Perhaps someone might know;
I have posted a thread earlier about having a clutch cable length problem, my clutch cable was too long. Some have suggested that my 83' 911 SC was originally manufactured with a sportamatic and was converted to a manual transmission. Has anyone out there sucessfully completed this transformation and if so, did you have a problem with your clutch cable length? Thanks for your time! |

no listing for an 83 w/sporto in the spec book. if the clutch pedal roll pin is shearing, the cable will appear too long.

I thank you sir, I didn't realize the sportomatic wasn't available... I already rebuilt the pedal cluster and put in a new shear pin, I wish that was the problem because it would be an easy remedy.
