Looking for shortest CATs.
I'm looking for a pair of CATs with good flow that is as short as possible to fit in a setup that is very similar to Moses' in this thread: 3.6 exhaust pictures for JTO I've been looking but most of the listings for catalytic converters are short on dimension info as "non stock" is frowned on by the big mallet of the law...
I'm running B&Bs into 2-1/4 elbows going into the Dynomax 17725. With the room available the Cat will have to act as part of the elbow which is fine but it needs to be very short. The inlets can be smaller then 2-1/4 as I can always hack them to size and have a TIG in the garage.

I've tried the muffler shop around the corner but the only thing they have is what the direct regulation mandated replacement. I suspect that I would have to get out of California to get past the regulated lock-step...

Try Spintechmufflers.com, usually very specialized for small/compact items. Great quality.
