Hershey Swap Meet Trip Update
This is the list of Pelican Heads that are interested in going to the Swap Meet
Stormcrow Atlanta, Ga Stray15 Lititz, Pa pjv911 Long Island, NY Targa88 Quebec, Canada James Avis England R22tech Atlanta, Ga 83SC Camphill, Pa Racemor Charlotte, NC P-Thomas Jamestown, NC Osidak Concord, NC Stray15 is working on hotel reservations. Those of us who are definitely going can make reservations as soon as Stray15 gets the info. Sounds like this may turn out to be a fun trip. Steve |

Eric- I am sure we will be going up 75. I am going to get some 2-way motorola radios (good for about 2 miles) for the road trip...

Per the other thread, I would be interested in a Friday-Sunday run. What roads were you thinking of using to get to the meet? Straight highways or anything off the beaten track? Chris Suwanee, GA

I live only about 45 minutes from Hershey but would like to meet up with all of you either there or on the way. Heck I would even drive south to meet your guys and come back towards Hershey. This should be a great weekend

You might want to make your reservations ASAP so you don't have to stay in a far-away hotel. This swap meet is the same weekend as the Spring Carlisle car show and area hotels get booked fairly far in advance. If I were making this trip and didn't mind spending a few extra bucks, I'd stay at the Hotel Hershey - it is first class and virtually within walking distance of the swap meet. Carlisle is 30 minutes from Hershey in case you'd like to make a side trip - if you haven't been there before you'll be impressed. Over 8000 vendor spaces and 100,000 people. I've got tentative plans to go. Will probably take my truck instead of the 911 in case I find any big things to buy.
 If the weather is perfect, I might change my mind. If you guys plan to meet up somewhere during the day, please post the info. -- Curt

Holiday Inn at Hershey still has openings. I'll be there to watch the hill climb, check out the swap meet, and participate in the AX.
