Windshield Washer Nozzle install on and 71

Guys,

Need some pointers on installing the new nozzles on a 1971 T.

I removed the old nozzles and have new ones on hand, but I cannot get them to mount flush.

There are two rubber tabs on these and they are very flexible. Do I just pull them through the round hole? It seems that it will take an uncomfortable amount of force.

Geez, a five minute job and it becomes a big pain in the ass.

Thanks for any help.

Two ways.
1. Lightly lubricate the underside of the nozzle. Drop it in the hole and pull from the underside. Don't try pulling straight down. Pull at a sharp angle to maximize leverage. You'll feel it pop into position.
2. Lightly lube the underside. Drop in hole and spin as you apply downward pressure. Again you should feel it pop into place.
Good luck
