DFW Porsche 911 Mechanic Needed

I am looking for an independent Dallas-Ft. Worth mechanic to tune my 1972 Porsche 911e Targa 2.7RS and perform other repairs/mods. Any info would be much appreciated!

For that year car Ed Mayo is your man. He is the pano tech expert for the earlier cars and really knows his stuff. I believe his shop is Mayo's automotive. I'll try and track down his info. I've met him at several Porsche drives and he has an absolutely perfect 72S. I think he won best of show at last year's Parade.

There was a similar question a couple of weeks back. You might look through a few more pages of threads, but you should find a DFW mechanic thread. The consensus for a long hood was Ed Mayo. I think shop name and contact info was in there.

FWIW, I introduced myself to Ed at Parade last week. He was the concours judge for the early 911 engines. He is one of the most helpful, knowledgeable, and humble people in this hobby.

If we only had someone like him in Atlanta. You are very lucky
