ride height

my rear is off by a half inch or so my mech says there is no adjustment on the rear without adjusting the torque tubes then another shop says there is a little adjustment who is right?, i wondering if it is worth having the rear end tore apart for a half maybe 3/4 difference i know its there and it bugs me inputs?

Depends. Your signature says you have an '82 SC, therefore your spring plates should have height adjusters. But, if you are at the limit of the adjustment range (high or low), then your mechanic is right.

3/4 inch is more than spec per side but......

What is the difference when you are in the driver's seat?

Was the car corner balancedm with the equivalent of your weight in the seat?
