Rear Seat Snaps - Need Pics
I have a 1984 930S Euro. I need help with the rear seat straps. There were none when I got the car. Redid the leather and all. Now I need to put the straps in. I have the straps, but no male attachment (snaps). Can someone post pics so I can see the proper placement? Does the leather strap go on top of or under the carpet? Do I just need a male snap or is there some kind of bracket? All help and pics greatly appreciated. This car is driving me nuts.

In that link, Matt's setup looks right. That is what I had ('86) but I found I had the mounting bracket for the red seat lock buttons and 'spring bolts'. So I went that route. Anyway, the snaps look right; screwed into the back deck facing, screwed into the seatback under the carpet. best to get some new ones, maybe even have them made at a leather shop; get 'em a little thicker for strength. New snaps ought to hold well enough?
